Fairytale Inspired Wedding Vision

When dreaming of this fairytale inspired wedding photo shoot, I was wishing Hayley Paige would want to collaborate as we both share the same magical vision hoping to attract brides who vibe with the ethereal and whimsical ideas we have. When Hayley said yes to working together, she referred me to one of her NJ bridal shops (FBM Bridal) to lend me one of her gowns from her 2026 collection. I was looking for a dress that was flowy, lots of body in the train and skirt with a corset bodice, that way it looked like the bride was a modern princess. I went with “Once I was a Swan”.

 

So once I locked down the perfect dress for a fairytale wedding, I started to envision the setting. I was looking for a historic estate resembling Europe and a Bridgerton vibe. I saw gardens and pastel florals and greenery and candles setting a scene for a happily ever after. The first place that came to mind was Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ. When they said YES to this dream of mine, I couldn’t believe it. This meant I was closer to making it become a reality.

Next was using Canva to plan out floral designs so when I approached the right florist they understood the ideas but I wanted them to have full control of what they wanted to do as well. When Laurelwood Designs said yes to creating this magical setting at Jasna Polana – I was crying of joy.

Without a doubt I needed one bridal hairstylist, Shannon Sara, to be on the team. I actually chose the photo shoot date based on her availability as she’s a mom and pretty busy with her incredible work doing whimsical bohemian styles for brides dream to look like a princess.

There were a few vendors I loved working with in the past who are incredibly friendly, talented, and have a team mentality, so I was very excited to know that both content creator, Christine, was available along with NJ bridal makeup artist, Lorena, known for her naturally enhanced glowing brides that last all day long.

The last piece to this photo shoot (puzzle) was getting my favorite custom wedding jewelry designer, Kerry at Love Locked. I am/was humbled with gratitude as she trusted me with some of her prized custom pieces made of real gold and diamonds. Love Locked is known for making custom whimsical, modern and ethereal wedding jewelry for brides and grooms. I was able to capture some photos including their custom rings, a diamond tennis bracelet and pearl drop earrings that photographed perfectly with the vintage flat lay featuring Covenant Calligraphy pink and green invitation suites.
