The engagement photos for Sunrise Lake NJ

We started on the walking trail with their dog for a good 20 minutes; this was in April; some trees were still bare, and the NJ weather was quite remarkable. After the brief walk in the woods, we drove over the Sunrise Lake for photos around a golden hour and sunset. It was beautiful! We had fun with popping confetti to celebrate the engaged couple’s engagement. We ended the shoot at their childhood home nearby and started a fire and made smores…this is something that the couple loves to do together, so I was glad to document this as part of their love story.

You may ask, why does this couple have a San Francisco golden gate bridge photo in here? The reason is that the couple is from New Jersey, and planning a wedding here in NJ, but they met and still live in San Francisco together. They requested a magical, fine art photo, and this is the idea I came up with 🙂
