How to make sure engagement photos look dreamy

Book your engagement session 2 hours before sunset. The session with Suess Moments (whimsical NJ wedding photographer) is about one hour with plenty of posing guidance.

Props you need for dreamy engagement photos

It’s best you bring neutral colored blanket and a mix of silk (real touch) flowers and real flowers from a flower shop or grocery store to enhance the session to be a bit more of a romantic feel. In this Sayen House & Gardens NJ engagement session I brought the couple a book, feathered pen, and mirror to give the shoot a more whimsical fairytale dream like feel.

Not only does lighting a props make the photoshoot feel dreamy – it’s also how you’re dressed. Consider a dress that has flow and the partner to wear neutral pants or blue pants and a white button up with belt or suspenders and matching shoes.
