My neighbor – Ah, Jersey City. One of the many advantages of getting married here is the unmatched views of Manhattan, Ellis Island, and Lady Liberty. If skyline views are a must-have for your dreamy wedding, the Liberty House is worth a visit. Located within the beautiful Liberty State Park, Liberty House boasts two event areas, each with a private entrance, gardens, outdoor patios, and ceremony spaces. The Liberty Room features glass walls, an open-air deck, private gardens, and fire pits. On the other hand, the Grand Ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, 35-foot ceilings, and a wraparound terrace.

Ryland Inn Restaurants and Events

The Ryland Inn is a luxurious equestrian estate that exudes warmth and embodies the word “sophistication” in every way possible. With a rich 200-year history, much of the original architecture has been preserved and embraced, while also upgrading the location with contemporary additions that modern wedding couples have grown to know and enjoy. That includes elements like stunning chandeliers, exposed wooden beams, and an outstanding dining selection.

Perona Farms: The Refinery

As a New Jersey wedding photographer, I found that I Perona Farms has been one of my favorite wedding venues to return to and photograph couples. The staff is consistently organized, and kind and the place is well-kept clean, and modern. The refinery at Parsona Farms is a modern-day barn-style ballroom. Their refinery conservatory has a retractable glass roof for a perfect plan b in case it rains during your wedding ceremony. A dreamy wedding day can happen at the New Jersey wedding venue with just about any theme. I have photographed a Harry Potter-themed wedding at Perona Farms, and a more traditional kind. Which do you see yourself doing? A themed wedding or more traditional based on a timeless dreamy wedding color palette?

Perona Farms, The Refinery has a bride and groom suite and a bar/suite attendee to assist the couple and their closest friends and family throughout the morning then a different team to assist with photos on the property and the ceremony and then another team to assist with catering/the reception part of the wedding. The Ashford Estate

I have been to Ashford Estate a couple of times as I assisted a luxury New Jersey wedding photography company, Vanessa Joy, and took the photos above from my cell phone. I dream to photograph my own couples’ weddings here at The Ashford Estate! 

Located in a remote area of Monmouth County, The Ashford Estate is surrounded by hundreds of acres of unspoiled farmland, making it a well-kept secret for couples looking for country estate elegance and refinement. From waterfalls to breathtaking gardens, this wedding venue is filled with many beautiful settings and intricate details, so expect that the photos will be immaculate. Here, you can say your vows at the unique Barn Chapel which features a huge fireplace, lovely walkways, and a shimmering fountain. Take your cocktail hour to a whole new level by heading over to the grand Conservatory. Then, you can enjoy a delicious meal and dance the night away at the venue’s charming Ballroom.

The bedrooms are spacious for bride and groom prep. The grounds are lush and the pools are on brand. You have to ask about an after-party pool option for your wedding night! The Park Chateau Estates & Gardens

As a wedding photographer, I have yet to have the honor to photograph a full wedding day at the Park Chateau, but I have been here for bridal prep in their stunning, massive bridal suite and groom suite for prep. I do dream of returning to this New Jersey wedding venue to document a full-day experience.

Park Chateau is known for its gardens and church grounds for iconic dreamy wedding photos. There are plenty of hotel rooms for overnight guests and several bridal suite options perfect for wedding day prep photos at Park Chateau. As soon as you approach the property, you will feel like you have escaped the United States and are in France due to the fine resemblance of a French chateau’s landscape and architecture. Inside is modern and timeless.

The Park Savoy Estates

With more than 50 years of experience hosting weddings, The Park Savoy Estate guarantees the highest quality of service. So if you’re a busy couple who won’t be able to keep an eye out on every little detail, this historic venue is worth looking into. The Madison Hotel

I have shot at the Madison hotel several times and each time I get blown away by how dreamy the Conservatory looks for a wedding ceremony and reception. The glass ceilings, walls, hanging plants, and oversized chandeliers just make a statement when anyone walks in. For photo opportunities, couples can request to take photos in the train-car restaurant before they open for dinner at 5 pm. As of February 2023, The Madison Hotel is undergoing a remodel – the ballroom is no longer white/gold – it’s now shades of blue for a modern elegant spin on a New Jersey wedding venue. Its historic 1920-1940s era charm is being renovated to a modern version of elegance. The conservatory is not going through any changes as of now – but plan to see a whole new version of the madison hotel ballrooms, guest rooms, cocktail hour spaces, and more, come spring 2023! Skyview Golf Club

The 2023 upgrades to the Skyview Golf Club make this venue one of the dreamiest and most enchanting wedding venues in New Jersey. Couples can choose how they want their ceremony and reception experience. It can be a rustic vibe or an elegant vibe. It can be outdoors or indoors, which makes it an excellent venue for a rain plan. The outdoor ceremony is nestled on top of the golf course and pond with the most amazing scenic views of the mountains. The staff here is super attentive and it can host your bridal party in the lodge house and beautiful bridal suite inside the space. Skyview will even cater to you in the event you need a golf cart ride to the lodge up the hill. It’s a beautiful venue for your wedding! Bear Brook Valley

From the moment you arrive, someone will greet and welcome your arrival. The place is luxurious, and the way it’s so thought out for wedding days is unlike any other venue I have been to as a wedding photographer. Not only is Bear Brook Valley full of picturesque backdrops (winery, fields, hills, hidden swing set in the forest, gates, creeks, bridges, and more), but the staff and maintenance of the property are also exceptional. The food is delicious, and there are many unique station offerings at cocktail hour, too. My favorite was the pepper crab and tacos. Windows on the Water at Frogbridge

This award-winning, pristine 86-acre lush private resort boasts magnificent lake views everywhere you look. The venue has a picturesque lakeside patio, and it’s the perfect location for you and your partner’s exchange of vows. Windows on the Water also features a luxury tent that can accommodate up to 300 guests with heating and air conditioning for the comfort of your guests. 

 

Pleasantdale Chateau & Conference Estate

As a wedding photographer, I dream of photographing a wedding here at the Pleasantdale Chateau estate one day for one of my New Jersey couples.

Walking through the gatehouse wrapped in ivy, you’re immediately immersed in 40 acres of formal gardens, ponds, walking bridges, and meadows. The Pleasantdale Chateau is stunning and picturesque, making it a great venue for a luxurious wedding. From the Grand Ballroom to its other historic rooms, the elegant furnishings of this breathtaking estate evoke a timeless sophistication that cannot be replicated anywhere else. 

 

Eagle Oaks Country Club

Wedding photographers love to photograph spaces with white walls and ceilings for a clean, elegant image. The Eagle Oaks has an enchanting greenhouse/conservatory (similar to Madison Hotel), but it’s much more elevated and a perfect place to have your wedding in New Jersey.

 

The Mansion At Natirar

As a wedding photographer, I dream of photographing a wedding here at the mansion at Natirar one day for one of my New Jersey couples.

Natirar is a charming hilltop location with a long history dating back to the early 1900s. It was even formerly owned by Hassan II, the King of Morocco! Today, the property features a farm, a cooking school, a restaurant, well-kept grounds, and a magnificently restored mansion with many indoor event spaces. What’s excellent about Natirar is that it offers a variety of options. So whether you’re planning something small and intimate or going out with a lavish event, the venue can accommodate you and your loved ones.
