- There are two front entrances. Park in the lot to the left side, where you should see golf carts. Parking is free.
- The blue truck will be out front of the hotel side – do not park there
- The left lot will be closest to the wedding venues at Grand Cascades Lodge

Wedding details: A mix of Jewish traditions with a personal touch
I love weddings where it’s all about the couple. Not so much on wedding tradition, but more on making their wedding special to them. Below is a list of ideas and ways this couple made their wedding untraditional –
- Pre-wedding groom prep photos at a barber shop
- Dog at Wedding
- The groom and groomsmen wore hunter-green tuxedos instead of the classic black
- First look before the ceremony to allow more time for photos
- Honored the deceased in framed pictures and had family members walk them down the aisle and set them on the front row chairs
- The wedding party is seated during most of the ceremony
- Groom walked down the aisle with both parents playing drums since he plays percussion as a profession.
- A male friend in the bridal party
- After the party at a pool, we changed into swimsuits and did a mock sparkler exit.
- Cold sparklers at the reception and provided by the DJ
- Photo dash: The DJ played a song at the reception, and the couple had to run to each table for a quick pose. Warning when getting lifted and running around tight spaces! The groom ended up chipping his front tooth from this game.
- Both sets of parents gave speeches, and the best man, maid of honor
- The maid of honor choreographed a surprise dance for the couple; it was a flash mob!
- The couple had choreographed dances with each other and their parents
- The groom danced with his dad instead of mother-figures
- Instead of real flowers, they opted for fake ones that looked real!

We made time for two sets of photographs before they walked down the aisle and afterward around golden hour. We took photos at several locations at the Crystal Springs Resort:
- Front of Cascades Lodge entrance pathway for first look
- Just married portraits after the outdoor ceremony
- Golden hour on the golf course (behind the ceremony location)
- Indoors, downstairs in the wine cellar
- Grand staircase at the Grand Cascades Lodge
