A collection of beach wedding photos at one of New Jersey’s top beach venues, Windows on the Water.
It’s June, and the beaches are open and inviting on beautiful days. Because of this, couples would plan their beach wedding at Windows on the Water to take advantage of perfect weather and a stunning blue backdrop. Windows on the Water at Surfrider’s Beach Club wedding venue is located on the little New Jersey shore island strip near one of the wealthiest towns in New Jersey, Rumson.
A list of reasons why I love working at Windows on the Water wedding venue in Sea Bright, NJ
Here are a couple reasons why some couples wouldn’t have a wedding here:
Pink, Pink, and lots of Pink! This bride loved PINK! So you will see it in every little detail – from the flowers to the tablecloths and more. The bride preparations took place at a hotel just a 4-minute drive, at the Beachwalk at Seabright. We started with detail shots, followed by photos with the bridesmaids, then the bride putting on the dress and a first look with her father. The second photographer captured the groom at a rented lake house and took some family photos before meeting at the beach venue for the first look. After that, we had a photo session on the candlelit staircase, rooftop, and the signature white-painted boardwalk leading up to the beach. To ensure a clean look for their wedding photos on Sea Bright Beach, I used some Photoshop magic to remove people and objects from the background. Following this, we met the wedding party and family members at the gazebo for family and wedding party photos. In the future, I suggest scheduling the VIP photo shoot for a later time to avoid harsh sun and squinting in portraits. During the ceremony, there were a lot of half-naked strangers watching next to and behind the ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple had a private dinner in their bridal suite and later joined the cocktail hour. Meanwhile, I captured the reception decor while the second photographer captured the couple’s interactions during the cocktail hour. The reception party started at sunset in the ballroom, and we had the opportunity to take some photos on the rooftop during golden hour and sunset. Everything went seamlessly, and the couple danced the night away, with the DJ, emcee, and the whole wedding vendor team working cohesively.
A special thank you and shout out to Fresh New Angle for referring me as the wedding photographer and making it such a fun experience for the couple at Windows on the Water. Fresh New Angle was responsible for booking the NJ vendors: photographers, videographer, officiant, emcees, DJ, and photo booth services.
