A wedding day typically begins with bridal prep photos. On this occasion, the bride got ready in her childhood home, accompanied by her parents and nine bridesmaids. Meanwhile, the groom got ready in his nearby condo.

Upon my arrival at the bride’s mother’s home, she warmly welcomed me and gave me a tour of the house. I will never forget the moment when the bride’s mother shared her dream of buying the house. She had been sold on the staircase, which was one of the many reasons why the home was perfect for her. She had imagined her daughter walking down those steps on her wedding day, and watching her as she descended.

I took her words to heart and wanted to ensure that this sweet moment wasn’t stolen from her on her first daughter’s wedding day.

A Unique Wedding

There are many reasons why a wedding can be unique, but here are two reasons why this particular wedding stands out. Firstly, the bride and groom share an inside joke called #panpartyoftwo. As a result of this, they decided to personalize their flat lay details by incorporating a vintage ornate pan. The crystal in the pan has a lot of meaning to the bride because her groom gifted it to her and it helps her with her anxiety. Secondly, the bride chose to have her bridesmaids wear white dresses instead of the traditional expectation of wearing colored dresses. This was a unique and confident decision that added to the wedding’s overall uniqueness.

Unforgettable Moments About this Wedding

1. The bride shares a close bond with her father and arranged a special surprise for him on her wedding day. She gifted him a rental car – a classic 1950s Thunderbird car in the exact color and year that he owned when he was younger. Thanks to Film Cars NY for the car! He was overjoyed and surprised when he got to drive the replica of his beloved car and escorted his daughter to the ceremony in it.

2. After the catholic ceremony, the wedding party and close family members went to the reception venue for photos with the Thunderbird. The management of the golf course where the reception took place arranged for golf carts to transport everyone to the 18th hole for portraits. The ride to the location was approximately 15 minutes one way and was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

3. The reception hall at Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point in New York was beautifully designed by Sara Landon Events and Ivie Joy Flowers. The hall was decorated in white and greenery with many romantic candles lighting up the space.

4. The couple had an amazing time dancing the night away, both before and after the cake smash and even an epic fall!
