• Parlor Bar Capacity: If you envision a more intimate ceremony, I suggest you book The Tilling House’s parlor bar. The parlor comfortably seats 80 guests for the dinner event, while for a standing cocktail-style reception, it can accommodate up to 200 guests.
• Byron Nelson Room Capacity: You know, the smaller space fosters a personalized atmosphere, enabling your guests to connect closely with the celebration. I found Tilling House’s Byron Nelson room ideal for intimate events, offering seating for 75 guests and a standing cocktail-style reception capacity of up to 150.

• Capacity & Amenities: The suite comfortably fits 7-14 persons and is equipped with a full-length mirror, cozy seating, dedicated dressing space and ample lighting.
• Early Access: Since the bridal suite is used for dress up, makeup and photography, The Tilling House provides access to the bride and her party as early as 10 am so that everything can be done with ease.
• Dedicated Attendant: That’s not it. The bridal room is even provided with an attendant for food and beverage service to pamper the bride and her companions.

Groom Suite

• Entertainment: The Tilling House groom suite outfits the pool table, shuffleboard table and some retro arcade machines for the groom and his gang to unwind and enjoy.
• Capacity and Attendant: It houses the same number of people as a bridal suite and comes with a dedicated food and beverage service

• Outside Caterers: I’ve noticed that sometimes, hosts have specific preferences for the caterers they want to hire for their wedding dinner or lunch. If you also want to hire a particular caterer, The Tilling House allows outside vendors to take full charge of the service. However, they require these vendors to provide proof of insurance before accessing the venue.
• Wedding Cake: The Tilling House does provide a complimentary wedding cake, which is included in the package. However, if you wish to bring your own cake, you are free to do so.

7. Timings Flexibility

You know what’s really important for a chill, fun event? Having flexible timings. And that’s something I really appreciate about The Tilling House. They totally get that everyone’s event is unique, so they’re all about adjusting to whatever timing you need.

It just makes the whole thing flow so smoothly, without any rush or stress for you or your guests. It’s such a relief, honestly.

In terms of schedules, The Tilling House ensures the following:

• The ceremony’s starting time is flexible; it completely depends on when you would like to commence the ceremony.
• The Tilling House understands the festivities may extend longer than usual. Therefore, it allows events to continue until 11 pm so that everything can be wrapped up in a timely and organized manner.
• If you wish the fun time to last longer, you can extend the cocktail hour to 90 minutes instead of an hour.
• Vendors and design teams are allowed to have access to their specific rooms by 11 am on the event day.

• Covered Patio: The Tilling House has a fully covered outdoor patio space to accommodate the ceremony in case of an emergency.
• Emergency Accommodation: Moreover, the ceremony can also be accommodated in any available ballroom, or you can also go for a room flip, depending on the best possible option at that time.
• Umbrellas Availability: Not to mention, large sized umbrellas are provided immediately to escort the guests to covered areas.

They lay out all the payment details, like when you need to pay, any extra charges, and taxes. It’s all out in the open, which is great because you can plan your budget without any surprises.

And trust me, knowing all this upfront really helps in juggling other expenses for the event. Let me give you a rundown of their payment specifics right here.

• Payment Structure: In order to secure a date, you need to pay a 20% non-refundable deposit. After the deposit is paid, 50% of the remaining payment needs to be paid halfway to the date, and the final balance should be paid ten days before the event once the headcount has been confirmed.
• Per Person Charges Range: The cost per person for the off-peak season ranges from $200-$260pp, whereas for peak season, the price range can be between $260-$300pp.
• Venue Buyout: Booking the entire venue is like having the keys to your personal kingdom for uninterrupted celebrations. If you wish to have the exclusivity of the entire venue, you need to pay a $10k venue buyout fee and can enjoy a tailored celebration at The Tilling House.
• Additional Charges: Regarding additional fees, the venue charges a 22% fee and a 625% tax.
