Fairytale wedding photos in Paterson, NJ at The Brownstone

 

The Brownstone is an enchanting wedding venue in Paterson, New Jersey. What I love most about this venue is that it has multiple fairytale vibes in its outdoor areas for photo opportunities. Most couples fall in love with the greenhouses with glass ceilings, gazebos, gardens, fountains, and ivy-walled classic architecture. The greenhouses house ceremony and reception event spaces for rent. The problem with this venue is that if a couple doesn’t buy out the entire venue, then they can sell the event spaces to other events – so taking photos have to be strategic around the venue if not planned out in advance with the planner/day of coordinator.

The truth is, I was not hired as the main photographer for this wedding. I was hired by my photographer friends to join their team for the day as a 2nd photographer. In the wedding community, photographers help each other out and when they do, some allow 2nd photographers to use their photos from the wedding to use on social media and websites too.
