Fall photoshoot: Prospect Park Maternity Photos
Prospect Park is Brooklyn’s largest park and a wonderland for all the New York City seasons. Fall is one of the most scenic times of the year in Prospect Park where many couples and families go to hang out and plan maternity, engagement, wedding, and family photos.
As a Brooklyn, NYC wedding and couples photographer, I also get to photograph milestones in my couples’ lives – like as they build a family! So, the first part of their new journey is their maternity photos. I live across the street from Prospect Park, so going there for photoshoots is quite easy, I also know of all the great spots for photoshoots inside Brooklyn’s finest natural preserve.

According to the calendar, fall starts on September 22 and ends on December 21. Starting 2018, living and being a photographer in Brooklyn, NYC – fall (maternity) photos are best to take place in Prospect Park or even Central Park between Halloween to Thanksgiving!
When is the best time for maternity photos?
The best time for maternity photos is as soon as your start showing! Keep in mind that receiving the photos for you to announce to the world can take about 6 weeks.
