Look no further, I made a list of dreamy NJ wedding venues with bridal suites!

Hi Hi! I am an NJ wedding photographer, Miranda Suess, and I researched New Jersey’s dreamiest wedding venues and now narrowed down which ones have iconic bridal suites for you to get ready and feel like a queen before the celebrations begin!

As a photographer, I believe it’s essential to tell a story about your wedding day, and it all starts with preparations in an alluring bridal suite.

During bridal prep, this is when you’re looking all dolled up, feeling your best self. When I capture brides on their wedding day, I want them to be in the best possible setting, so the space has to have beautiful lighting and thoughtful interior design elements. I researched New Jersey’s dreamiest wedding venues and now narrowed down which ones have iconic bridal suites for you to get ready and feel like a queen before the celebrations begin!

What makes a bridal suite picture-perfect?

There are some major things I look for as a wedding photographer to consider a space to be picture-perfect. First of all, you have to be in it 🙂
Here is a list of reasons why a location is picture-perfect for bridal prep in a bridal suite

• Natural light is coming through the window.
• Beautiful mobile curtains to diffuse the light, if they are sheer – those are brownie points!
• No air conditioning unit distractions, especially on the window
• White ceilings make it easier to bounce light on
• White walls are not required, but we love them as photographers as they help bounce light on your pretty face.
• Mobile furniture that can be moved back after photos are taken. Sometimes the table or lamps are distractions and must be placed elsewhere temporarily.
• Design elements, like seating pieces, make it a nice photo op with your bridal party members.
• Elegant pieces of artwork
• Ornate mirrors, especially full-length ones you can gawk at yourself in
• Thoughtful interior design, looks clean, and well kept
• Lighting that is accessible to turn off and on
• Bonus: A place for hair and makeup to get you and your bridal party ready
• Bonus: A place for the bridal party members to get prepared outside of the space where you get ready – usually, this is a master suite-style bathroom space
• Bonus: A room for groom preparations on the same property offering a bathroom, seating, window light, and games/tv

The Ashford Estate

The Ashford Estate has a bridal salon on the main floor for preparations and on the third floor, the brides suite includes a bathroom, french doors, full length mirror, bed, a seating area, and a perfect place to get dressed with the help of your maid of honor and mother.

Can guests stay overnight at The Ashford Estate, NJ, Bridal Suite?

You can stay overnight here at The Ashford Estate Bridal Salon/Suite, as can more of your favorite people. A total of 26 guests are invited to stay, there are 12 guest suites, each has a king-size bed, and en-suite bath– one guest room has a double king bed.

This venue is known for its bridal suite; on the same level is a small space for up to 4 people to hang out in the groom suite. The bridal suite can hold up to 10 people comfortably.
