New Jersey Family Photographer

Hello there! I'm Miranda Suess, a friendly female family photographer based in Jersey City, New Jersey. If you're here, it's probably because your family is growing and you want to capture this precious moment forever. Your future self and your children will look back at these photos and Tell stories about their history.

I provide family photography services in Jersey City and can travel to your home or your favorite location in New Jersey. During each session, I arrive early and spend time getting to know your family, guiding poses, and capturing candid moments that showcase the genuine love and happiness you share with each other.

I offer photo sessions for a variety of occasions including seasonal family photos, maternity shoots for expecting couples, photos for children over six months old, sessions with pets, and family portraits with grandparents.

When is the best time to schedule our family photos? It's ideal to plan the session around your child(ren)'s nap schedule and about an hour after mealtime. Outdoor sessions are best held when the sun is low, around 90 minutes before sunset.

What should we wear to our family photo shoot? Comfort is the priority, followed by style. It's important for everyone to try on their outfits beforehand. Neutral colors, mixed patterns, and varied styles tend to photograph well, especially if you plan to display the images as wall art.

How long do family photo shoots last? The duration depends on the cooperation and mood of the family. I aim to capture at least 50 beautiful photos of your family, including group and individual shots. the session lasts 60 minutes.
