About the wedding day

We started the wedding at two different locations. The bride got ready in her dress, and bridal party within 10 minutes of the venue at her beautiful aunt’s home in Sparta, NJ. The groom got ready onsite at the log cabin mentioned below.

This adorable and fun couple is what I would call a Disney couple. They are youthful in their souls, and they love Disney and Starwars – even the bride surprised the groom with a trip to Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and he was shaken with excitement! These two are the type of people who go with the flow and genuinely value quality time with their families. I did everything possible to ensure they weren’t taken away from their favorite people for too long. The bride’s aunt and her cousins were a floral team to assemble the whimsical, bright, airy, yet pastel colorful floral installations. I was obsessed!

This was my first time working at the newly renovated Skyview Golf Club wedding venue. The staff was extremely attentive and kind to the vendors. I had a 2nd shooter and worked alongside a video team of two. The food we got was delicious. The vibes that Posh DJs brought to the reception were wild. A perfect Sunday-Funday kind of wedding 🙂

That entire weekend, the forecast predicted rain and storms, but we got fortunate with the rain showering on time as people were scheduled to be inside the ballroom. Later in the evening, just before sunset, a rainbow appeared. It was magical. Just 20 minutes before sunset, I pulled the couple outside to take golden hour photos and a photo with the rainbow. Skyview Golf Club is a wedding venue with flexibility in choosing which ballroom you rather have for cocktail hour and reception.

The bright bridal suite has an oversized mirror, a private bathroom, a white sofa with plenty of natural light, and a dining area to relax.

The groom’s suite is up the hill, resembling a rustic wood cabin. It’s two stories and features a mini putting hole, wooden swing sets, porch, and plenty of space and activities to entertain everyone who hangs out there. Although a bedroom on the top floor has an oversized mirror, no overnight accommodations exist. Because this is uphill, ask venue staff about getting a golf cart ride to/from the cabin.

The ceremony space is outdoors with views of the lush golf course, mountains, water fountain features in ponds, and the sunsets behind so perfectly in case a couple plans a later ceremony!

The cocktail room the couple in this gallery used is more rustic and has floor-to-ceiling windows with similar ceremony views.

The reception space the couple in this gallery used is an enchanting ballroom with chandeliers, a bar, and easy access to the parking lot and bathrooms.
