Does Designer Loft NYC have plus-size bridal gowns?
Designer Loft NYC works with NYCs’ best wedding gown designers to produce the gowns you need with the customizations that you desire. The designers are well-versed at cutting an extraordinary silhouette that could fit properly with every type and size of the figure. Inspired by the modern minimalistic style and varied cultural influences, the dresses showcase a touch of class and sophistication. Ask about designers: Rosa Clara and Pronovias!

I need my wedding dress ASAP – does Designer Loft NYC have any available I can buy as-is?
Rush brides: Designer loft has special TO GO selections for you! They work with designers who may have certain styles in stock immediately. However, this may limit your size, color, and style selections- so they do recommend ordering at least 12 months out whenever possible!
Does Designer Loft NYC offer fittings and alterations?
Information about dress alterations and fittings at Designer Loft NYC:
Fittings are regularly Monday-Friday, 11 am-6 pm. Please arrange your fitting via phone or email. Designer Loft N can accommodate weekend fittings, schedule permitting, and must be scheduled in advance with a seamstress.
Alterations are up to $500 for basic alterations (cups, bustle, hemline, seam adjustment). Major changes will be more expensive. Everything will be discussed at the time of your fitting so all is clear.
Don’t forget your shoes and undergarments for your seamstress fittings. Try to approximate what you will wear on your wedding day, in terms of heel height and undergarments.
What should I prepare before I try on a wedding dress at Designer Loft NYC?
Please book appointments in advance, especially during trunk show weekends, which fill up quickly. The average purchase-to-arrival time for new bridal gowns is five to six months with an additional two to three months or more recommended for fittings.
Bring pictures. It can help a bridal dress expert to assist you.
Share your visions, questions, concerns, and budget with a bridal dress consultant— it will make the process easier for you. Designer Loft also allows you to take pictures in our gowns so you will see how certain styles photograph.
