Central Park engagement photography is popular in New York City. Suess Moments captured this couple’s proposal story. They had a Scavenger Hunt!
The Central Park engagement photography was based around an epic proposal. In other words, A SCAVENGER HUNT. We did the engagement photography session where it ultimately brought basic nostalgic memories of the time when Tien sent his beautiful girlfriend (now fiance) on a scavenger hunt through Central Park. Ultimately it’s where she found him waiting for him… in the rain! To ask her to be his wife. wow.

How the photography session went down:
Tien and Elizabeth met me at Central Park near the Robert restaurant. Tien had Elizabeth’s sister who was visiting in town help setup the epic scavenger hunt through central park. It was raining that day and Elizabeth’s sister tricked her into thinking they were having a special sister-sister photography session in central park. Earlier that day they got their hair and makeup done too but still planned to “do a photoshoot even in the rain”. Little did Elizabeth know she was embarking on a journey to find her boyfriend (Notebook style) and scream “YES!”
Unfortunately, there wasn’t a real photographer, but that’s okay because they hired me afterwards to relive that special day without the rain part – haha!
You will see a combination of letters, Tien sent the scavenger hunt instructions to the Robert in order to deliver them to Elizabeth during her lunch date with her sister. Tien sketched a photo of where he was waiting for Elizabeth. How great of an artist is he, right?!
First, he sent her to the carousel (photo below of them dancing there). Then, she walked through the golden brick tunnel leading to Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. Elizabeth tossed coins into the fountain to make a wish. What do you think she wished?
Afterwards, she crossed bow bridge that lead to a special path to Tien. She admits, she got lost but soon found him in the pouring rain under an umbrella waiting in the same spot he sketched and asked, “will you marry me?”
