This is a blog post featuring photos of a beautiful wedding a the Ryland Inn in New Jersey (NJ).
Where is the Ryland Inn?
Â
The address to the Ryland Inn is: 115 Old Hwy 28, White House Station, NJ 08889
What time of year was this wedding?
Beginning of May, springtime.
What was the color palette of this wedding at The Ryland Inn NJ?
Like most couples, they chose a neutral color palette filled with a candlelit reception and lots of whites and soft mauve pinks that almost look tan.
What was the 8-hour timeline for wedding photography services?
As a NJ wedding photographer, I ask my couples to complete a contact form and share details with me about what matters to them so I can curate a custom quote, free wedding photography timeline and shot list for their day.

What makes the Ryland Inn a beautiful place for wedding photos?
- The reception ballroom (Grand Ballroom) holds up to 240 guests with plenty of space for dancing too
- Visit the Grand Ballroom at golden hour (an hour before sunset) for the best romantic wedding photos peeping through the oversized windows
- The chandeliers can be dressed up with floral installations, and the fireplace in the Grand Ballroom can serve as a beautiful photo backdrop during the reception. Make sure to ask your florist to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to use at the fireplace!
- The grounds are beautifully manicured and to take wedding photos by the silo and walkway with it as a backdrop is picture-perfect dreamy for photography.
- Keep in mind if there is another wedding happening the same day/time the coordinator and bridal attendants will need to ensure both wedding parties do not see eachotehr. As a result, there are restrictions where and when to take photos.
- The bridal suite is a perfect place for bride and groom prep photos – so take advantage to arrive early to the Ryland Inn and get photos of the moment getting in the dress there.
- The Hayloft Cottage bridal suite and the Kimblewick House are the best places for the bridal prep photos, while the Pelham house serves best for groom prep.
- This wedding gallery shows the bride and groom swapping houses, which I do not recommend.
