Why choose to have a wedding at Bear Brook Valley

I have worked hundreds of weddings at this point in my career, and most NJ wedding venues and Bear Brook Valley stand out as one of the dreamiest venues I have worked at. I can’t wait to return to capture more couples celebrating here.

The vibe

As a NJ wedding photographer, I would describe it as a blank canvas with a modern, luxurious, farmhouse twist.

Thoughtful

Bear Brook Valley really thought of everything when walking through the guest experience. From the entry point of signs directing cars where to park and where the wedding entrance is. To a front desk attendant so kind and gave me a printed map of the venue to scout photo locations.

The groom suite

The groomsmen’s suite is located downstairs on the same floor as the ceremony and cocktail room. It’s equipped with plenty of entertainment options such as games, a TV, and outdoor access. Additionally, there’s a bathroom, lounge seating, and a stocked fridge with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The groomsmen suite is a great place to get ready and hang out before wedding events begin.

The bride suite

This is the largest bride suite I have ever seen in New Jersey. It is conveniently located on the same level as the reception space. The opposite side of where the groom would be so, making it easy for them not to cross paths on the morning of the wedding. Most NJ wedding venues don’t actually allow couples to get hair an makeup ready in the suite, but rather only just to use for the wedding day a few hours before the ceremony. At BBV, they allow it, making the morning feel less stressful having to pack and commute from hotel to venue on the morning of the wedding with a wedding dress on!

The staff

The people working at Bear Brook Valley are exceptional. They keep the venue looking like grand opening day, have a smile on their faces, and take their job seriously, making sure everyone is taken care of and feels welcomed and at home. During the photography process, assistants help with dress fluffing, touch-ups, water breaks, and capturing behind the scenes.

Picturesque

A golf cart and yellow jeep are provided to the couple and the photo team to take us all around the property for picturesque photos. We chose to take photos with the Bear Brook Valley Silo backdrop, in the grape vines, swing in the woods, on the hill, with the jeep, and on both bridges.

Bride’s hair

The bride had her dress tailor make an oversized hair bow from her dress. She looked like a doll! The groom’s mother is a bridal hair stylist and had the honor to style her daughter-in-law’s hair in a high ponytail.

Barbie pink color

I love it when my couples are original and nontraditional. The couple chose a color palette with pops of hot Barbie fuchsia pink, creating a stunning and unique visual experience. Every bridesmaid looked like a version of our beloved Barbie dolls, adding a playful and stylish touch to the wedding party.

Why is June a good month to get married in New Jersey?

The season of this Bear Brook Valley wedding was summer in late- June. June is the most popular summer month for weddings because of the weather, flowers, and time off.

Weather

Temperatures aren’t usually extreme, making it ideal for an outdoor wedding.

Flowers

New Jersey is lush, and it’s hydrangea season, and those vibrant flowers are at full peak. This also means a lot more beautiful flowers are in season making it much easier for your florist to arrange beautiful installations and bouquets for your wedding day.
