You’re about to check out a beautiful gallery of a gay couple’s wedding photos at the American Yacht Club in New York. The charming couple hired me (NJ Wedding Photographer) and Siobhan to take wedding photos at the stunning waterfront private members-only club.
The wedding took place in August, the summer. It was a perfect day for a waterfront wedding in New York- not too hot or humid.
This is a collection of wedding photos by NJ wedding photographer Suess Moments. The wedding photos below include a charming gay couple getting married at a waterfront venue in New York.
We started by taking getting ready photos at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor—the couple booked the Presidential Suite and signed their marriage license in private with their officiant. After the gay couple got ready together, we headed to the American Yacht Club for photos, including the property and one of the groom’s father’s sailboats. Then we took a wedding party and family photos on the waterfront. The entire day was perfect; nothing went wrong.
The ceremony was beautifully adorned with blue and white flowers, creating a stunning backdrop around the live band stage. The grooms, married by one of their best friends who officiated the ceremony, shared a heartwarming moment. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour took place outside, where every detail was thoughtfully arranged. Hand-painted cocktail napkins and signage added a touch of elegance and created a cohesive, branded look for the wedding. To elevate the cocktail hour experience, red oyster shuckers were hired, leaving a lasting impression on the guests.
As the day transitioned into evening, the golden hour and sunset provided a breathtaking backdrop for the celebration. The couple celebrated by popping a bottle of champagne and basking in the beautiful views. It was a truly iconic moment, and the photos captured it perfectly. The evening continued with lively dancing hosted by a live band, creating an electric atmosphere. The newly married couple changed from their matching eggshell white tuxedo jackets into unique mustard yellow and green suit jackets with custom embroidery under their collars that read “let’s party“, adding a fun and personal touch to the festivities.
