Rainy Day | Ramblewood Country Club NJ Wedding

Most couples who book an outdoor wedding ceremony hope for a rain-free day, but this couple had a different approach; rain or shine, they were determined to have their photos taken outside. Our timeline included enough flexibility to wait patiently for the rainstorm to pass. Once it stopped, we quickly moved outdoors for photos around Ramblewood Country Club in New Jersey. The groom had brought his vintage car for the shoot, which added a unique touch. Meanwhile, the bride preferred most of her photos to be taken outside, including her bridal portraits, instead of in the small bridal suite.

It’s worth mentioning that the beautiful ballroom adorned with hanging greenery was not a permanent feature of the venue but rather an installation added by the couple on the morning of their wedding. I do not recommend this option, but we attempted to make it work given that the venue had another event happening in the ballroom. I would have preferred using the ballroom for the bride’s getting-ready photos if we had an alternative location. What do you think?
