About the Photographer, Miranda Suess

 

I believe that a headshot photo will not only help someone put a face to the name but also a headshot with a genuine expression that can give the viewer a sneak peek into the personality. I am based in Jersey City and can also come to you in NYC at your office space or nearby in an outdoor setting.

• Let’s pick a time/date
• Read & sign the agreement (comes after the confirmed time/date) and pay a NON-REFUNDABLE retainer to make it official.
• Accepted forms of  payment – Cash App, Zelle or Credit Card 3% fee

 

At the end of the session

The final balance is due. I do not send images for review or editing without full payment.

You will receive approximately 10 images to choose ONE complimentary image to use for personal and marketing purposes. After picking your image for me to edit, this process can take about 4 weeks. If you happen to need the image sooner, I charge a $100 rush fee so you can get the edited image for download within 1 week. Expect to receive a downloadable image format for PRINT, INSTAGRAM, AND WEBSITE.

 

How to prepare for your Jersey City headshot photoshoot

• Most likely you’re only being photographed from the chest up, no need to worry about what your bottom half looks like or the shoes you wear. If I show up and you have a suit jacket and pajama pants on.. I will laugh with you  – not at you.
• It’s best you hire a professional hair and makeup artist as they know what works best for photoshoots and make you feel super confident in your photos. • I will guide you into several poses that don’t make you look awkward.
• Photos are taken outside. You can request indoor for part of a shoot for an additional $100 fee (includes a 2nd headshot for download) as I will need to use/set up studio lighting + edit one additional image for you.
• Bring a couple of blazers for a variety. I only photograph from the waist up and, most times, hands will not be in some posed images. If you wear slippers and sweat pants, I will not laugh at you, I will laugh with you 😉
• Please be on time or a bit early for your session as a $25 late fee will be issued if you arrive after your 15-minute window. If you reschedule within 72 hours of your session, you will be charged a $100 rescheduling fee. However, in the event of bad weather, quarantine, or road closures, we will be forced to reschedule and no late fee will be issued.
• Remember, headshot sessions are NOT confirmed without a signed agreement and a retainer. I will send you a confirmation email once both are completed.
